Dental Examination – from £55


During your first dental visit a comprehensive history of your past dental treatment will be taken, your medical history will be discussed, your soft tissues and the condition of your gums will be checked, x-rays will be taken where required to assist the dentist in diagnosing any dental treatment you may need.


Your dentist will tell how often you need to have a check- up.


We follow the guidelines set by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (N.I.C.E.) on how often patients need to see the dentist. Your dentist will recommend a time and that can be between 6 and 24 months.


People with higher treatment needs will be seen sooner, normally 6 to 12 months.


Those with good oral health will return between 12 and 24 months.


Dental Radiography (X-rays) – from £10


Pictures are taken to help with the diagnoses of dental treatment/pain as everything can't be seen with the eye and these images help us to spot problems before they start to hurt you.


Periodontal Treatment – from £35


Gum disease or periodontal disease is caused by the hardened plaque – known as tartar or calculus. The plaque will attach to the teeth causing gum inflammation which will bleed on brushing. The gum may start to come away from the tooth, creating 'pockets' around it where even more plaque can gather. Over time the plaque will start to eat away at the bone which supports the tooth. If left untreated you may need to have the tooth removed.


We will scale your teeth to remove hardened plaque. If you have advance periodontal disease the dentist will advise you to have a longer, more intensive treatment.

Fillings and Restorative Treatment – from £45


Part of your teeth may be lost to decay or damage cause by accident. The decay will be removed and the cavity filled with variety of materials. The most common filling material is amalgam (silver) or composite (white).


Componeer – from £200


What is componeer? 


Componeer is a manufactured, very thin shell that can be fixed to front of the teeth to conceal aesthetics imperfections. 


With componeer your dentist can make your smile more beautiful in only one session. Fast with little effect on tooth structure. It involves three easy steps: 


Step 1

The dentist checks the condition of your front teeth, recommends the right COMPONEER shade and selects the right COMPONEER shape with the template.


Step 2

Then your teeth are prepared and veneered with COMPONEER. Your teeth will require very little preparation, because the tooth enamel shells are so incredibly thin.


Step 3

Your dentist will place the COMPONEER in the desired position, using the same material the componeer was made from. At this stage you can discuss with the dentist the shape and length you want and any changes on the spot. The final step is to smooth and polish the tooth to match the others.


Endodontic Treatment – from £120


Root canal treatment (also called endodontic) is needed when the nerve supply of the tooth (known as the pulp) is infected through decay or injury. You may not feel any pain in the early stages of the infection. In some cases, your tooth could darken in colour which may mean that the nerve of the tooth has died (or is dying). This would need root canal treatment; this is the removal of the infected nerve and filling the root canal to seal against infection.


Extraction – from £60


Extraction of teeth that can't be restored. 


Some teeth may be badly decayed and can't be restored because of abscess or broken down root left inside the bone. The dentist may have to refer you to hospital specialists if more complicated bone surgery is required.
