Morocco Dental Project
Our Aim
- To support, encourage and help sustain oral health
- To raise awareness
- To provide education
- Preventive treatment
- To provide pain relief treatment
Why do we want to volunteer?
We want to help under privilege children and improve their oral health.
We want to give our time to help those who are suffering from dental pain.
What will be the challenges I will face?
- Small clinic space
- Working with basic equipment
- No main electricity
- No running water
What will be my role?
- Assisting the dentist
- Oral health advice
- Fluoride varnish
- Applications
How many in a team?
8-12 with a mix of dental nurses, hygienist, therapist and dentists.

- Launched in 1996
- 2003 first education programme
- 2003 – designed a fully portable dental chair that fits into a wheelie bin
- 2012 DentaidBox introduced
- 2015 start work in UK
